Eifion Thomas - Tenor
Eifion has been associated with the history of Cor Meibion Llanelli since 1965 and has been its Music Director since November 1974. He is well-known as a tenor soloist and has sung with the Choir on all their international tours. In 1994, 1996, 2000, and 2002 he was guest soloist at the biennial London Welsh Festival of 1000 Male Voices at London's Royal Albert Hall, and appeared as tenor soloist in the London Welsh Festival Chorus's production of Handel's Messiah at the Fairfield Hall in Croydon in 1986.
Eifion is proud to say that he has appeared with Glandulais in their recent performances of Haydn's Mass in Time of War, The Creation, and Maunder's Olivet to Calvary. He has made three recordings, and has plans for a CD of Christmas songs and duets during late Summer.
